I go through phases ...I completely understand that! I go through phases with journaling, actually. I tend to journal every day for two or three days when I'm processing something, and then I go for a stretch without writing anything. The thing is, that's okay. Sure, it might be nice to journal every day, but everyone has a different need and purpose for journaling. So, I don't think it's as big of a deal as we make out to to be.<br /><br />As for prayer journaling, it's honestly tied to the regularity of my devotional time. If I'm spending time in the Word, then I will probably be writing in my prayer journal. If I'm not, then there's a stretch of emptiness. I haven't been real great lately, and I can feel the effect in my heart. I need to renew my focus.
